Wayne Golden

Elder

New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary graduate Wayne Golden and his wife, Elaine, are blessed with three grown daughters, six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, each of whom brings joy and inspiration to their lives.

With more than 30 years of pastoral experience, Wayne is currently semi-retired but remains actively involved in various facets of ministry. His journey has been marked by a deep commitment to serving others and advancing the work of the Church both locally and internationally, with a steadfast vision to see God’s Kingdom advanced through compassionate service, strategic prayer, and the discipleship of those who seek Christ.

Wayne is the founder and director of Mission Haiti, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to ministering to displaced children in Haiti. Through Mission Haiti, he has had the privilege of witnessing transformation and hope brought to vulnerable communities, particularly among children who have been uprooted from their homes.

A significant part of Wayne’s ministry has focused on advocating for Kingdom-focused prayer, helping pastors and churches develop strategic prayer approaches aimed not only at reaching the lost but also discipling those who come to Christ. He believes prayer is the cornerstone of effective ministry and has dedicated much of his life to teaching and equipping others in this vital area.
