Nick Beach

Elder

Nick came to faith in Jesus as a teenager, and his walk with Him has been a steady, imperfect journey of learning to trust Him more. Over the years, God has used both joyful seasons and hard ones to shape his faith and remind him that growth usually happens slowly and with a lot of grace.

During college, he was involved with Campus Crusade for Christ, which helped anchor his faith during an important season of life. He also participated in a mission trip to Wyoming and later served as a camp nurse on a mission trip to Belize, caring for children with special needs. Those experiences taught him that following Jesus often looks less like having the right words and more like being present, listening well, and serving others with what you have.

Nick is originally from Columbus, Ohio, and has been married for over 27 years. He and his wife have two kids who now serve in the U.S. Air Force, and being parents of adult children has continued to stretch and humble them. Like most families, they’ve learned a lot about patience, prayer, and trusting God when things feel out of their control.

He spent many years serving as an Army nurse and now works in healthcare leadership at the VA. Through that work, he has seen people at their best and their worst, and it has shaped how he thinks about care, responsibility, and compassion. He does not see these experiences as something that sets him apart, but as ways God has taught him to listen, lead with humility, and care for people in real and practical ways.

At church, Nick currently serves on the Transitional Leadership Team and has helped in a variety of roles over the years—small groups, security, medical response, and plenty of behind-the-scenes work. He values honest relationships, faith that shows up in everyday life, and serving wherever there’s a need. His desire is to continue growing in Christ and to walk alongside others in this church family with humility, grace, and consistency.
